The Canadian Swine Health Intelligence Network (CSHIN) is a network of swine health professionals focused on swine disease surveillance in Canada to improve the health of the Canadian swine herd. It is co-funded by the Canadian Pork Council (CPC), the Canadian association of swine veterinarians (CASV), and the Canadian Animal Health Surveillance System (CAHSS).

The mandate of the CSHIN Team is to prepare a quarterly synthesis of the observations reported by regional (RAIZO in Quebec, OAHN in Ontario and CWSHIN in the west Atlantic provinces) and national (CAHSS and CFIA) networks.

The CSHIN team is well integrated among the main stakeholders working with the Canadian pork value chain (see here) and the swine health component of the various networks of the Canadian Animal Health Surveillance System (CAHSS).
